After hours care
We offer 24 hour patient care through the Home Doctor Service. You can call them
on 13 74 25 or click here to be directed to their website.
Can I discuss more than one issue with my Doctor?
Definitely, however we ask that you book a longer appointment so that the Doctor has enough allocated time to attend to your complex issues.
I just need a prescription, can the Doctor just write it for me?
You will need to book an appointment, either face to face or telehealth to speak to your doctor for them to issue a prescription.
I need to see a Doctor today, can you fit me in?
Our policy is to keep some appointments each day that can only be booked on the day. Appointments fill fast, so please call at 8:30am on the day if needed.
Can I just attend without an appointment?
"Walk-in" or same day appointment requests are dependent on doctor availability. To ensure your time is not wasted, prior to attending, please contact our friendly reception staff, and note that you will be allocated to the next available doctor.
If you would like to see a specific doctor, you will need to book an appointment.
I have some feedback for your centre, who do I direct it to?
We welcome any feedback and suggestions regarding your care at Corio Bay Medical Centre. Feedback can be discussed with our Practice Manager, or if you prefer to write to us, please email admin@coriobaymedical.com.au
If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you can contact the Health Complaints Commissioner. To lodge a complaint with the HCC please contact them www.hcc.vic.gov.au or phone 1300 582 113 between 9:30am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
